If you haven't figured it out by now we love Miami.  In fact, we've booked cruises sailing out of other ports and then cancelled them, sad at the thought of not being able to spend time in our favorite city. From Bayside to South Beach, Miami has it all.  Great restaurants, a safe and clean beach, awesome weather, and a diverse history/population that is anything but boring are all here. We plan on moving to Florida in the not too distant future and think Miami will be a great place to call home.  Coming from the midwest (Kansas, land of Oz) when I think vacation, I think palm trees.

 Miami has many of them.

To learn more about Miami, follow these links to some great sites:

  • South Beach Webcam - Sometimes I just sit and look at this for hours
  • Miami Art Museum - A great reflection of all the different cultures that collide in Miami- if you have some time its worth the trip
  • Miami Seaquarium - Save the $125 we paid for 4 people to go here, check out the website and call it a day, this place blows
  • Miami Weather - Bookmark this page and go here daily for current weather conditions
  • The Miami Herald - You'll drive right by this place on the way from the airport to the seaport
  • The Port of Miami - The above link reminded me of this one
