Mini- Bars

Not all Carnival ships have mini-bars in the cabins.  They are found more frequently on newer ships like the Spirit and Conquest class.  Having not sailed either of these classes of ships I was really curious what was inside them so on out Carnival Legend (Spirit class) cruise in March I took some extra pics and brought home a menu with prices for you to look at and know what to expect. The price of beer and soda is basically the same as anywhere else onboard but I wouldn't plan on having a party of it as there is just one can of each kind available.

You can ask your steward to remove all the contents of the mini-bar so you can store your own stuff in there if you want to. You can also request more of one thing and less of another.  If you like Heineken, for example, you could have your steward fill it up  and take all the other stuff out.  Our mini-bar was not particularly cold but cold enough for us to save our Bon Voyage cake for 3 days with no problem.  We also stuck some milk from room service in there and it was fine also.

If you're worried about kids eating the pricey candy bars or boozin it up with thier friends while you're at playing bingo, you steward can simply not unlock it.  We did that in the cabin our kids stayed in and they managed to survive.
